The DIGITUS Rack plinth DN-19 PLINTH-8/8-B is a black steel plinth designed for 483 mm (19") Varioflex-N, Unique and Dynamic Basic series network cabinets. With external dimensions of 800 x 800 mm and a height that increases cabinet ground clearance by 100 mm, this plinth provides a stable base and additional internal space for storing excess cable lengths and improving cable routing. The product is supplied unassembled for simplified logistics and flexible installation.

Assemble the plinth following the included assembly instructions, secure it to the cabinet frame according to the cabinet manufacturer’s mounting procedure, and verify stability before installing equipment. Use the internal space to coil and store excess cables and route them through the brush strip feed-through to maintain orderly cable management and reduce dust entry.

Recommendations

For optimal stability and cable management, mount the plinth on level flooring and fasten it according to the cabinet manufacturer's guidance. If additional height or storage is required, two plinths may be stacked to achieve a 200 mm increase; check load and clearance specifications of the cabinet before stacking. Maintain the brush strip and internal cavity free of heavy debris to ensure proper cable routing and airflow.
