The Brennenstuhl 1951150500 Power Extension is a 5-way indoor surge-protected extension lead with a 3 m cable and an angled plug. Designed for safe operation at 230 V and up to 16 A, it combines surge protection, HF/EMI-RFI filtering and an automatic Main–Follow switching system that lets a primary device control power to connected secondary devices. How to use

Plug the extension lead into a properly grounded mains socket using the angled plug. Connect the primary device (Main) to the red Main socket and connect secondary devices to the Follow sockets. Use the illuminated two-pole on/off switch on the strip to power all Follow devices together with the Main device. If required, switch the strip to permanent mode so all sockets remain powered regardless of the Main socket state. Ensure the total current drawn does not exceed the rated 16 A.

Recommendations

Place the power strip in a dry, well-ventilated location and avoid covering it. For optimal surge protection, connect critical equipment (computers, AV gear) to the surge-protected sockets and check connections periodically.
