Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The POC Amidal redefines trail helmet expectations by merging extended coverage with a remarkably airy feel. Unlike bulkier enduro lids that sacrifice ventilation for protection, the Amidal uses a unibody polycarbonate shell and optimized large vents to keep airflow constant even on slow, technical climbs. With MIPS Integra rotational impact protection and a 360° adjustment system, it delivers a secure, personalized fit that stays comfortable from first descent to final shuttle.

Highlights

  • MIPS Integra rotational impact protection system
  • Unibody PC shell with EPS liner for robust durability
  • Optimized large vents for superior cooling
  • Adjustable and removable visor for versatile styling
  • 360° adjustment system with precision straps
  • Removable, washable padding for easy maintenance
  • Certified to CE EN 1078, CPSC 1203, AS/NZS 2063

In daily use

Trail, enduro, and all-mountain riders will appreciate the Amidal's balanced approach: extended rear coverage shields the occipital area without adding noticeable weight. At approximately 360 grams, it disappears on your head during long rides. The adjustable visor can be positioned to block sun or lifted to accommodate goggles, while the 360° fit system allows micro-adjustments even with gloves on. The green colorway offers high visibility in forest environments, and the removable padding means post-ride freshness is just a wash away.
