Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Shipping & Returns

These lightweight wireless headphones combine a sleek design with Noise Cancelling Pro to help you focus on audio. Advanced noise cancellation reduces ambient sounds while Awareness Mode restores environmental sound when needed. The headphones use 40 mm drivers for detailed sound and solid bass, include a detachable cable for Hi‑Res Audio playback, and come with a hard case for storage.

Advantages

Noise Cancelling Pro offers effective suppression of unwanted background noise while Awareness Mode allows quick listening to surroundings. The 40 mm drivers deliver clear detail and punchy low frequencies. Bluetooth multipoint connectivity lets you pair two devices simultaneously and switch between them. Battery life reaches up to 60 hours with noise cancellation off and up to 45 hours with it on; a full charge requires two hours and a 15‑minute quick charge provides about eight hours. Touch controls handle playback and calls and can be disabled via the companion app. The Philips Headphones app provides EQ presets, custom sound adjustments and noise‑cancellation mode selection.

Key specifications

  • Driver size: 40 mm
  • Noise cancelling: Noise Cancelling Pro with Awareness Mode
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth multipoint (up to 2 devices) and wired via included cable
  • Battery life: up to 60 hours (ANC off), up to 45 hours (ANC on)
  • Charging: 2 hours full charge; 15‑minute quick charge ≈ 8 hours
  • Controls: touch controls (can be turned off in app)
  • App: Philips Headphones app for EQ and noise‑cancellation modes
  • Included accessories: detachable audio cable, hard carrying case

How to use

Charge the headphones fully before first use and pair them with your devices via Bluetooth. Use Bluetooth multipoint to connect two devices and switch between them as needed. For wired playback or Hi‑Res Audio files, connect the supplied cable. Control music playback and calls with touch gestures on the earcup; disable touch controls in the Philips Headphones app if desired. Use the app to adjust sound settings and choose noise‑cancellation modes. Use Awareness Mode when you need to hear ambient sounds without removing the headphones.

Recommendations

For best results, keep firmware and the Philips Headphones app updated, charge the headphones regularly, and store them in the hard case when not in use to protect them from damage.

7/10

“While the likes of Sony, Sennheiser, and Bose are known for their audio products, brand Philips can also be counted among the best. Philips has just entered the sub-Rs 10,000 segment with a highly compelling pair of headphones.”
