The Thermaltake CTE E660 MX Midi Tower (White) is a PC case engineered for flexible component layout and optimized cooling. It supports standard and next-generation hidden-connector motherboards from ASUS and MSI, offers three different GPU mounting positions (a 400mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable is included), and provides large radiator and fan compatibility so users can create custom high-performance builds.

Advantages

How to use

Install a compatible motherboard (Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, ATX or E-ATX) in the rotated CTE orientation, select the preferred front panel (tempered glass or perforated) and mount cooling components according to available radiator and fan locations. Use the included 400mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable and floating GPU bracket to place the graphics card in one of three supported positions (floating center, vertical/up-right, or right-forward). Route cables and install storage in the right chamber: HDD cage (up to two 3.5" drives) and the drive plate (one 3.5" or two 2.5"), then connect front I/O ports on the top panel for quick access.

Recommendations

For optimal airflow and thermal separation, install intake fans near the front and motherboard side and exhaust fans toward the rear and top. Choose the perforated front panel when prioritizing maximum airflow and the tempered glass panel when prioritizing interior visibility. When using high-end GPUs with radiators, verify GPU clearance with the chosen radiator and consider using the floating GPU or vertical mounting to improve airflow and display options.
