The SilverStone TJ04-E Midi Tower is an evolution of the Temjin TJ04 introduced in 2004. The classic exterior styling is retained while the internal layout has been redesigned to support modern PC hardware: a bottom-mounted power supply, space for multiple storage devices and long graphics cards, plus dedicated cooling and cable-management features to maintain stable operation and airflow.

How to use

Install the motherboard (Micro ATX, ATX or CEB) on the provided standoffs, mount the PSU in the bottom bay and secure it. Populate drive cages or 2.5" brackets with SSDs/HDDs as required and connect drives using the included SATA cables. Route cables behind the motherboard tray using the smart backside routing to maintain positive pressure and unobstructed airflow. Install long graphics cards without removing drive cages up to the supported length, and use the removable fan filters for regular cleaning to sustain cooling performance.

Recommendations

Clean the removable filters regularly and ensure the included SATA cables with capacitors are used for drive connections where possible. Maintain positive internal pressure by using intake fans and checking airflow paths to keep hard drive temperatures lower and preserve component longevity.
