How to use

Before installation, inspect the respirator and filter housing for damage or contamination. Install each filter into the respirator following the respirator manufacturer’s attachment procedure until it is fully seated and sealed. Perform a user seal check and, if required, fit testing to verify correct installation and face seal. Replace filters when breathing resistance increases, when they become visibly soiled, or according to workplace exposure limits and the respirator manufacturer’s recommendations. Store spare filters in a clean, dry place away from contaminants and direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Use these filters only with compatible 3M gas and vapor respirator models and in accordance with applicable workplace health and safety regulations. Do not use particulate filters to protect against gases or vapors unless specified by the respirator system. Replace filters promptly when saturated or damaged and follow local guidelines for respirator maintenance, cleaning, and filter disposal.
