How to use

Position the shredder on a stable surface and unlock any transport brakes on the castors if required. Plug the unit into a suitable mains outlet and switch it on. Feed documents into the paper feed; the integrated light barrier will start the shredder automatically. Avoid overloading the feed—use the overload protection guidance and feed batches of paper within the machine's capacity. If the safety element is pressed or triggered, the feed will stop immediately. When shredding is complete the device will stop automatically; remove and replace the collecting bag via the wide door opening to empty waste.

Recommendations

For best performance, remove large clips where possible, empty the collecting bag before it becomes completely full as indicated by the display, and place the shredder in a ventilated area. Use the sleep mode and automatic shutdown to reduce energy consumption when the unit is not in use.
