Painting kit Ravensburger CreArt Little Lion – children's paint-by-numbers set

Ravensburger CreArt Little Lion is a paint-by-number kit for children that guides users through creating a finished lion illustration. The set contains a pre-printed panel with numbered areas and a matching set of paint pots and brushes so that beginners can follow a clear colour sequence and complete a neat, colourful picture. The kit is designed for home or classroom use and supports development of fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and basic colour-matching techniques.

Advantages

The paint-by-number format provides step-by-step guidance that simplifies the painting process for children and first-time painters. Included materials are sized and selected for small hands, with a durable pre-printed panel that holds paint well and a palette of paints formulated for easy application and quick drying. The kit reduces the need for prior experience by matching numbered areas to labelled paint pots, which helps build confidence and provides a consistent finished result.

Suitable for

• Children learning basic painting techniques and colour recognition
• Art activities at home, schools or after‑school clubs
• Supervised creative play and skill development for ages guided by packaging

How to use

Select a stable, well-lit workspace and protect the surface with paper or a cover. Match each numbered paint pot to the corresponding area on the pre-printed panel and apply paint in thin layers, starting from larger areas to small details. Allow layers to dry before applying additional coats to avoid smudging. Clean brushes with water between colours and close paint pots after use to preserve remaining paint. Follow any age and safety guidance provided on the product packaging.

Recommendations

For best results, work from light to dark colours and rinse brushes thoroughly when switching hues. Supervise younger children during use, keep paints away from eyes and mouth, and allow the finished panel to dry flat for several hours before displaying or framing.
