The MASTER LOCK Excell No. M1EURTRILH laminated padlocks come as a 3-pack with a 45 mm wide laminated steel body and a 51 mm long shackle. The padlocks are keyed alike and combine a hardened Tough-Cut™ boron-carbide octagonal shackle with stainless steel and zinc outer components to provide cutting and weather resistance while maintaining reliable everyday security.

Advantages

The octagonal Tough-Cut™ boron-carbide shackle is approximately 50% harder than hardened steel, increasing resistance to cutting and sawing. Dual ball-bearing locking resists prying and hammering, while a 4-pin cylinder reduces the risk of picking. How to use

Insert the key and turn to retract the locking mechanism, open the shackle and place it through the item or hasp to be secured. Release the key to lock the ball bearings into place, then remove the key. For keyed-alike sets, use any one of the supplied keys to operate all three padlocks. Store spare keys in a safe place and inspect the lock periodically for corrosion or damage, especially when used outdoors.

Recommendations

For outdoor installations, position the padlock so the shackle faces downward where possible to reduce direct exposure to rain. Lubricate the cylinder annually with a graphite or silicone-based lock lubricant and avoid petroleum-based products. Replace the lock if the shackle or body shows significant corrosion or deformation.
