Outdoor column speaker Omnitronic ODC-244T White IP65 weatherproof 11036978

Omnitronic ODC-244T White IP65 is an outdoor column speaker engineered for weather-exposed installations where clear voice reproduction and background music are required. The column format provides a vertical dispersion pattern that helps distribute sound evenly across terraces, open-air seating areas and public spaces. The white finish offers discreet integration with facades and outdoor decor while the IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, making the speaker suitable for permanent outdoor mounting.

Advantages

The vertical column design delivers controlled directivity to reduce reflections and improve speech intelligibility in outdoor environments. With weatherproof construction and an IP65 protection rating, the speaker withstands rain and dust without compromising acoustic performance. The unit is compatible with standard PA systems for easy integration into existing audio installations and its unobtrusive white housing supports a low-visibility installation on walls or poles.

How to use

Mount the Omnitronic ODC-244T securely to a suitable outdoor surface using corrosion-resistant fasteners and appropriate mounting brackets. Connect the speaker to the amplifier or PA system following the system's wiring and impedance requirements. Position the column for optimum vertical coverage so sound is directed toward the listening area; avoid aiming directly at reflective surfaces to reduce unwanted echoes. Perform a sound check at typical listening distances and adjust levels and equalization on the amplifier to achieve clear speech and balanced background music.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor reliability, inspect mounting hardware and cable entries periodically, use weatherproof cable glands where needed, and protect amplifier equipment from moisture and direct sunlight. Match the speaker to an amplifier with appropriate power and impedance handling to prevent distortion and ensure consistent performance.
