How to use

Install the T5 lamp into a compatible fixture with a G5 socket. Ensure the fixture is compatible with linear fluorescent lamps of this size and that the correct ballast or electronic control gear is used. For standard operation, use the specified mains supply and follow the fixture manufacturer’s instructions. If a QUICKTRONIC ECG is available and supported by the fixture, installation with that control gear may extend the lamp’s operational lifetime.

Recommendations

Use the lamp in dry indoor environments and avoid exposure to excessive vibration. Replace the lamp at the end of its rated lifetime or when noticeable lumen depreciation occurs. For optimal lifetime (up to 10,000 h) use a compatible QUICKTRONIC ECG as indicated by the manufacturer; otherwise expect the typical lifetime around 5,000 h.
