The ORNO OR-CR-246 uses microwave radar at 5.8 GHz to sense movement through walls, glass, and lightweight partitions, providing a full 360° detection circle with an external sensor head that can be positioned independently for the best coverage.

Tips

Mount the main unit in a standard junction box and place the external sensor so it covers the walkway or entry point. Use the LUX dial to prevent the sensor from tripping during daylight hours, then fine-tune the time delay to suit the room – a shorter setting works well for corridors, while longer durations suit storage or utility areas. Always switch off the supply before adjusting any settings.
