Recommendations

Use high-quality DVD and CD media to ensure reliable reading and writing performance. Handle discs by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the data surface. When installing, ensure the drive is compatible with your system's slim bay and internal connector; consult the device manual for disassembly instructions and connector type. Regularly update your operating system's device drivers if the drive is not automatically recognized.
