On Cloudrock Mid WP Women's Hiking Boots - Black/Black, EU 40.5

From the Swiss brand that reinvented running cushioning, the On Cloudrock Mid WP brings that same springy responsiveness to the mountains. Engineered for women who move fast on uneven ground, this mid-cut hiking boot combines a seamless waterproof membrane with a protective mesh upper, while the signature CloudTec pods and Speedboard plate deliver explosive energy return on every step. When trails get wet, muddy or rocky, the Missiongrip outsole digs in for relentless traction.

Highlights

• Waterproof membrane keeps feet dry through puddles and light rain
• Engineered mesh upper with protective overlays offers abrasion resistance
• CloudTec® cushioning absorbs impact and adapts to uneven surfaces
• Speedboard® technology transforms impact into forward motion
• Missiongrip™ rubber outsole ensures reliable grip on wet and dry trails
• Lace-up closure with secure ankle support for a locked-in fit

In daily use

Start your hike early in the morning, when the dew is still heavy on the grass. The waterproof layer shrugs off moisture, allowing you to step confidently through damp sections. As the day warms up, the breathable mesh prevents overheating, and the 7mm heel-to-toe drop keeps your foot in a natural, comfortable position. Whether you are navigating steep switchbacks or enjoying a relaxed forest trail, the Cloudrock Mid WP responds with lively cushioning that feels almost like a running shoe. The mid-cut collar adds stability around the ankle, while the protective overlays guard against rocks.
