Oil electric space heater JATA R109

The JATA R109 is an oil electric space heater designed for indoor use. It provides up to 2000 W of heating power with a minimum setting of 800 W, operating from a 230 V AC supply. The unit uses an oil-filled heating element to deliver steady, convective warmth and is finished in grey. Controls are implemented via a rotary knob that adjusts the built-in thermostat and power level. Its compact footprint and vertical design measure 460 mm wide, 250 mm deep and 640 mm high.

Advantages

The oil-filled element provides prolonged, even heat retention and reduces rapid temperature fluctuations compared with bare-element heaters. The adjustable thermostat and rotary control allow straightforward power selection between 800 W and 2000 W to match room size and comfort needs. The model’s dimensions and neutral grey finish make it suitable for a variety of indoor settings where stable background heating is required.

Suitable for

• Heating small to medium-sized rooms such as bedrooms and living rooms
• Supplementary heating in offices and workspaces
• Continuous background heating to maintain ambient temperature

Key specifications

• Heating power: 2000 W maximum, 800 W minimum
• Heating element type: Oil-filled radiator
• Supply voltage: 230 V AC
• Control type: Rotary control with adjustable thermostat
• Colour: Grey
• Dimensions (W×D×H): 460 × 250 × 640 mm

How to use

Place the heater on a stable, level floor surface with sufficient clearance from walls and combustible materials. Connect the unit to a 230 V AC socket and turn the rotary control to the desired power setting; the adjustable thermostat will regulate output to maintain the set temperature. Allow a short warm-up period for the oil to circulate before the heater reaches stable output. Do not cover the unit or block airflow around it during operation.

Recommendations

For efficient operation, set the thermostat to a moderate level and use the lower power setting when continuous background heating is needed. Ensure regular visual inspection of the power cord and housing, and keep the heater away from moisture. When transporting or storing, allow the heater to cool completely before handling.
