Cat.6 S/FTP (SSTP/PIMF) networking cable with support for bandwidths up to 250 MHz, designed for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is 0.5 m long and comes in red with an LSZH (halogen-free) outer sheath. It is manufactured and tested according to ISO/IEC 11801 and supplied individually in a polybag.

How to use

Connect one end of the Cat.6 S/FTP cable to an RJ45 port on a network device (switch, router, NIC or AV extender) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless design protects the latch during plugging and unplugging. Use the cable for short patch connections where 1 Gbps performance and shielded transmission are required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius. Use shielded ports and properly grounded equipment where possible to maximise the benefits of the S/FTP shielding.
