The EFB Elektronik K8015.1 is a 1 m Cat5e Ethernet patch cable in yellow, designed for Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T(X)). It uses SF/UTP (S-FTP) construction with foil and braid shielding around the four twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with shielded Hirose TM11 RJ45 plugs (IEC 60603-7-3) and the cable is wired to the TIA/EIA 568B standard.

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the network ports of the devices to be connected (for example, switch to workstation or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the shielded plug seats and the mounted strain relief boot is in place to minimize mechanical stress. Use the cable for short, horizontal or patch connections where a 1 m length is appropriate.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain a bend radius of at least four times the cable diameter.
