How to use

Install the ECS-24-POE into a standard 19-inch rack using the included mounting hardware and connect AC power. Connect upstream network links or aggregation ports to the 10G RJ-45 ports for high-bandwidth uplinks, and attach endpoints or PoE-powered devices to the remaining RJ-45 ports. Access the management interface via the UniFi Controller or the device’s management IP to configure VLANs, L2/L3 routing, PoE allocation and security policies. Monitor port utilization, PoE power draw and MAC tables through the controller for ongoing administration.

Recommendations

For stable operation in enterprise deployments, reserve adequate PoE budget when planning connected devices, use quality CAT6A or better cabling for 10G RJ-45 links, and place the switch in a well-ventilated rack location. Use VLANs and access control features to segment traffic, and keep firmware updated via the UniFi management platform to maintain performance and security.
