How to use

Install the switch in a rack or place it on a stable surface near the network aggregation point. Connect upstream network equipment to one of the SFP slots using compatible fiber modules or to a copper Gigabit port for shorter uplinks. Connect end devices—IP cameras, phones or access points—to the RJ45 ports using CAT5e or higher cabling. Ensure PoE devices are compatible with the switch’s PoE standard before connecting. Power the unit from a suitable AC outlet, then verify link/activity LEDs to confirm proper connections and device operation.

Recommendations

Use shielded twisted-pair cabling for environments with electrical interference, and plan PoE budget based on the power requirements of all connected devices to avoid overloading the switch.
