The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pairwise aluminium-clad polyester foil shielding and a full braided shield (S/FTP / PiMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection; contact wiring is 1:1 according to EIA/TIA 568.
