How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a computer, switch or router until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management to prevent tension on the connectors. For patch panel installations, align the connector with the panel port and insert until seated; when removing, press the latch before pulling the connector out.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the UTP cable parallel to power lines or near sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use proper cable ties or Velcro straps to prevent crushing the cable, and replace the cable if the connector housing or conductor insulation is visibly damaged.
