The connector supports tool-free assembly with IDC terminals and low contact resistance for consistent signal transmission.

How to use

Prepare the cable to the recommended length, strip the outer sheath to expose the twisted pairs, and arrange pairs according to the chosen TIA 568A/B or Profinet wiring scheme. Insert conductors into the IDC terminals and press to terminate without tools. Fit the strain relief boot and secure with the integrated cable tie or clamp. Replace the dust cap when the connector is not in service to protect the shielding and contacts.

Recommendations

For best results use Cat.6 cables within the specified diameter range and follow the TIA or Profinet pair coding. Ensure the shield contact is properly engaged with the diecast housing to maintain EMC performance. Avoid repeated re-terminations beyond the specified limits to preserve contact integrity.
