We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.

Cautious spender organizations can now deploy denser PoE+ devices connected to a cost-effective switch, with a reasonable PoE power budget of 190W over 24-port, or 380W over 48-port. Organizations who buy infrastructure for the long term and want future proofing for the unforeseeable can now select a switch with a PoE power budget of 380W over 24-port, or 760W over 48-port providing more headroom. Temperature- and load-based fan-speed control combines accurate monitoring with minimized system acoustic noise: the GS728TP supports quiet rack mounting operation with a maximum of 26.80dBA even at full PoE power with traffic on all ports and 25°C (77°F) ambient. Following the same measurements, the GS728TPP is rated at 33.30dBA, the GS752TP at 36.60dB and the GS752TPP at 39.30dBA.

How to use

Mount the switch in a standard rack or place it on a shelf and connect uplink fiber or copper to the dedicated SFP and Ethernet ports. Configure basic network settings via the web-based GUI or the lite CLI, create VLANs and set PoE policies per port to schedule power delivery for connected devices such as access points and IP cameras. For remote management, activate NETGEAR Insight from the device GUI and register the switch in the Insight Cloud portal or mobile app to monitor status and apply configurations from anywhere.

Recommendations

Choose a PoE budget that matches the total expected power draw of your endpoints plus a safety margin. For long-term growth or higher-density deployments, prefer the higher-budget models (380W or 760W) and use the four SFP ports for redundant uplinks to improve availability.
