Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The Brother MFC-J3540DW Inkjet Colour is an A3 multifunction printer designed for mixed home and office environments. It delivers colour printing with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 DPI, colour copying at up to 600 x 600 DPI and colour scanning with an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 DPI. The device supports automatic duplex printing, wired and wireless network connectivity, and direct printing options, while its compact grey housing fits modern workspaces.

Advantages

The combination of high-resolution inkjet output and A3 paper support enables versatile document and image production from standard letters to larger layouts. Integrated Wi‑Fi and Ethernet LAN make network deployment straightforward for small teams, and duplex printing reduces paper use for two-sided documents. The scanner and copier functions provide convenient all-in-one capability without needing multiple devices.

Suitable for

  • Small offices and home offices requiring occasional A3 printing
  • Teams needing networked colour printing, scanning and copying
  • Designers or departments producing proofs and large-format documents
  • Workflows that benefit from duplex printing to save paper

How to use

Install the device on a stable surface with adequate clearance for paper trays and the scanner lid. Connect the printer to your network using the on-device Wi‑Fi setup menu or a wired Ethernet connection. Install the supplied or downloadable drivers on your computer or mobile device, then configure paper size and print quality settings to match your job. Use the scanner glass or the automatic document feeder (if present) for multi-page scans and select colour or grayscale scanning from the scanner software. For duplex jobs, enable two-sided printing in the print dialog before sending the job.

Recommendations

For consistent colour output, use manufacturer-recommended ink cartridges and perform regular printhead maintenance through the device menu. When printing A3 layouts or high-resolution images, select the appropriate paper type and highest quality mode. Place the printer in a ventilated area and avoid direct sunlight to maintain media and ink stability.
