tesa Powerbond OUTDOOR is a double-sided mounting tape for permanent fixing of items such as house numbers, plaques and small fixtures on solid surfaces outdoors and indoors. The black tape is 1.5 m long and 19 mm wide, supplied in blister packaging. It is formulated to resist UV, water and temperature changes and is suitable for bonding to tiles, brick, stone, metal and most plastics.

How to use

Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles. Cut the required length with scissors, remove the protective liner and press the tape firmly onto one surface. Align the item and press it against the opposing surface with firm, even pressure for several seconds to achieve best adhesion. Allow time for the bond to build before applying load; avoid immediate heavy stress on the adhesive joint.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term results, apply at temperatures recommended by the manufacturer and avoid use on textured or loosely bonded substrates. For heavier objects, use multiple parallel strips or mechanical fixings in addition to the tape.
