tesa® Powerbond® OUTDOOR is a double-sided mounting tape, 5 m long and 19 mm wide, designed to fix items such as house numbers and small decorations on solid surfaces. The tape features a black adhesive layer suitable for indoor and outdoor use and provides a durable, permanent bond without the need for screws or other mechanical fasteners.

How to use

Cut the required length with scissors. Ensure both the surface and the back of the item to be mounted are clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose paint. Peel off the protective liner, apply the tape to the item and press firmly. Remove the remaining liner and press the item onto the mounting surface for several seconds to ensure full contact. Avoid heavy load or stress on the bond for the first 24 hours to allow the adhesive to set.

Recommendations

For best results, apply at temperatures between 10 °C and 30 °C on smooth, non-porous surfaces. Do not use on freshly painted, powder-coated or easily crumbling surfaces. For heavier objects or uneven surfaces, use mechanical fixings or a stronger mounting system.
