tesa® Mounting Tape for Brick & Stone 10 kg/m (Tesa 77749-00000, 19 mm x 5 m) is a black permanent mounting tape developed for fixing objects on rough, solid surfaces such as brick and natural stone indoors and outdoors. The tape is resistant to humidity, UV radiation and temperatures from -10 °C to 40 °C. Under optimal conditions a 10 cm strip can hold up to 1 kg; the product rating is up to 10 kg per metre, with a recommended maximum of 6 kg per single application for reliable results.

How to use

Clean the mounting surface with a brush to remove dust and loose particles to ensure optimal adhesion. If either surface is very rough, apply tape directly to the rougher part. Apply vertical strips of tape corresponding to the height of the object and press firmly along the tape for at least 5 seconds. Remove the protective liner without touching the exposed adhesive, position the object, and press firmly for another 5 seconds to achieve a close bond. Use scissors to cut the tape to the required length.

Recommendations

As the tape is intended for permanent mounting, removal is difficult and may leave residue. If removal is necessary, peel slowly and parallel to the surface; residual adhesive can be removed with tesa® Adhesive Remover.
