Mountain Equipment Nanda Devi Jacket - Black

Typical down jackets sacrifice warmth in the name of weight, but the Nanda Devi Jacket breaks that compromise with box-wall baffles on the main body, eliminating cold spots and maximising loft for severe alpine conditions. Built with a highly water-resistant DRILITE® Loft 40D outer fabric and filled with 800 fill power pure down, it delivers expedition-grade warmth without excessive weight. The women's-specific Alpine Fit ensures freedom of movement while wearing a harness or helmet, and the adjustable, helmet-compatible hood provides complete protection in stormy weather.

In daily use

On cold alpine starts, the Nanda Devi Jacket traps heat efficiently thanks to its box-wall baffles and high-loft down. The two-way front zip allows you to access your harness or belay device without letting in cold air. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts easily even with gloves on, and the water-resistant shell sheds light snow and spindrift. When the temperature rises, the jacket packs down into its stuffsack and clips to your harness, ready for the next pitch.
