Mono Volume Controller Omnitronic 80711007 18 kHz

The Omnitronic Mono Volume Controller 80711007 is a single-channel audio level control designed to deliver precise attenuation up to an 18 kHz frequency range. The compact controller is intended for straightforward volume adjustment in live sound setups, studio monitor chains, and fixed installations where a reliable, easy-to-integrate solution is required. Its form factor makes it suitable for mounting in racks or panels and for use wherever a dedicated mono level control is needed.

Advantages

The unit provides accurate and linear level control across the audible spectrum up to 18 kHz, ensuring predictable attenuation behavior. Its compact design allows simple integration into racks and control panels without occupying much space. The control mechanism is built for stable operation and repeatable settings, which is important for consistent monitoring and level matching. Designed for single-channel use, it reduces complexity where only one audio path requires adjustment.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the controller into the desired rack or panel position using appropriate mounting hardware and connect the input and output to the corresponding line-level sources and destinations. Use the front control knob to set the required output level; rotate smoothly to increase or decrease the volume and make fine adjustments while monitoring the downstream signal level. Verify signal routing and nominal levels before use to avoid clipping or excessive attenuation. For consistent results, mark or note the control position used for reference during repeated setups.

Recommendations

Position the mono volume controller in the signal chain where centralized level control is required, such as immediately before the amplifier or monitor feed. When integrating into a studio or live environment, match nominal operating levels and perform a level check at startup. Avoid exposing the unit to moisture or extreme temperatures, and ensure secure mounting to prevent mechanical stress on connectors.
