The BIXOLON XM7-40 is a rugged mobile direct thermal label and receipt printer with 203 x 203 dpi resolution and a compact industrial design. It supports paper widths from 50 to 112 mm and a maximum roll diameter of 66 mm, delivering up to 127 mm/sec (5 ips) print speed and a maximum printable width of 104 mm. The device includes an embedded peeler, a TFT colour display, drop protection to 2.1 m and an IP54 rating. It provides wired USB-C and RS-232 interfaces as standard and optional simultaneous Bluetooth 5.0 (MFi) and WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n connectivity with NFC pairing. Memory configuration includes 128 MB SRAM and 256 MB Flash as standard, with optional 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB Flash for storing fonts, graphics and firmware updates. How to use

Load the thermal roll according to the user manual, close the cover until it locks and choose the required paper width. Power on the printer and connect via USB‑C, RS‑232, Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi following the device pairing instructions or network setup. Select the desired command language or label software on the host device (SLCS, BPL-Z™, BPL-C™, BXL/POS or supported label editors) and send print jobs. Use the embedded peeler for single label dispensing when needed.
