How to use

Connect the A-49 to your computer or compatible iPad using the supplied USB cable (an Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit is required for iPad connection). The unit draws power from the USB bus, so no separate power adapter is necessary. Use the octave and transpose buttons to set the keyboard range, and adjust the knobs, switches or D-BEAM to control parameters in your DAW or external sound modules. Access secondary functions via the Function button and the printed labels above the keys.

Recommendations

For reliable USB bus power, connect the A-49 directly to a computer USB port or a powered USB hub. When using an iPad, confirm compatibility and power requirements when using the Camera Connection Kit; some iPad models may require a powered USB hub or adapter. Keep the keyboard on a stable surface and avoid heavy impacts to preserve the key action and mechanical components.
