Microphone Arm Elgato Wave Mic Arm Low Profile — adjustable low-profile boom for studio and streaming

Elgato Wave Mic Arm Low Profile is an adjustable low-profile boom arm engineered to provide stable microphone support and precise positioning for compact studio, streaming and podcasting setups. The arm's slim design reduces desk clutter while offering smooth articulation and reliable load handling, enabling fast adjustments and consistent microphone placement during broadcast sessions and content creation.

Advantages

The low-profile construction reduces the arm's footprint and improves ergonomic access to the microphone without sacrificing rigidity. Precision joints and damped pivots deliver fluid motion and secure locking at the chosen position. The included desk clamp and internal cable routing options keep cables organized and out of the way, while the durable materials and finish resist wear from daily use.

Suitable for

• Desktop streaming setups with limited desk space
• Podcast booths and home studios requiring repeatable mic positioning
• Live broadcasts and voiceover work where easy microphone access is needed
• Content creators who move the mic frequently during sessions

Key specifications

• Adjustable boom arm with multiple articulation points for precise mic placement
• Low-profile design to minimize desk footprint
• Desk clamp mounting for secure attachment to work surfaces
• Integrated or concealed cable routing to reduce visible cable clutter
• Durable construction and finish for long-term daily use
• Compatibility with standard microphone mounts and shock mounts

How to use

Secure the desk clamp to the edge of a stable desk or table and attach the boom arm according to the included mounting instructions. Mount the microphone using the appropriate thread adapter or shock mount compatible with your microphone. Route the microphone cable through the arm's cable channels or along the external guides to prevent snagging. Adjust the arm's length and pivot points to position the microphone at the desired distance and angle, then tighten the joints to maintain stability during use.

Recommendations

For consistent audio capture, position the mic 15–30 cm from the speaker's mouth and angle the capsule to minimize plosives. Use the internal cable routing when possible to reduce movement noise, and check fasteners periodically to ensure pivots remain secure after extended use.
