It supports Cat6 performance up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s, and is backwards compatible with Cat5e and Cat5. The cable is purple and designed for connections between network devices, patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets in home and small office networks and entertainment setups.
