How to use

Connect the DATA input RJ45 port of the POEINJ-15W to an uplink port on your network switch using Ethernet cable. Plug the remote powered device (for example, an IP camera or AP) into the DATA+POWER output RJ45 port with another Ethernet cable. Connect the adapter to AC mains (100–240 V) and power it on; the adapter will combine switch data with PoE power and transmit both over the output cable to the powered device. Since the unit does not include an internal network switch, it must be used with an external switch or router for data connectivity.

Recommendations

Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cable for Gigabit performance and keep cable runs within 100 m.
