How to use

Align the hood’s bayonet mounts with the lens bayonet and rotate until the two catches lock into place. When using a circular filter that requires rotation or fine adjustment, open or use the integrated filter adjustment window instead of removing the hood. To remove, press the bayonet catches and rotate the hood counterclockwise until it releases.

Recommendations

Attach the lens hood when shooting in strong directional light to reduce flare and protect the front element. Avoid using the hood with lenses or accessories it does not fit, and store it on the lens in transit to protect the front surface.
