Lens Amaran 19° for Amaran Spotlight SE — 19° Beam Angle, Accessory Lens

The Lens Amaran 19° for Amaran Spotlight SE is a replacement accessory lens that produces a narrow 19-degree beam for concentrated, directional illumination. Designed to fit Amaran Spotlight SE fixtures, this lens narrows the light spread to deliver a focused spot, improving light intensity on a subject and enabling precise control of highlights and shadows for photography and videography applications.

Advantages

This 19° accessory lens creates a tightly controlled beam that boosts on-axis light intensity and reduces spill to surrounding areas. It is engineered to maintain optical quality while shaping the beam, allowing for consistent color and even illumination within the spot. The lens is compact and straightforward to install, providing a practical way to change beam character without altering the fixture or light source.

Suitable for

• Portrait and headshot lighting where a focused key light is needed
• Product photography to highlight details with controlled specular highlights
• Studio and on-location shoots requiring accent or hair light separation
• Cinematic and broadcast setups that need precise beam shaping for mood and contrast
• Theatrical and event lighting for isolated spot effects

Key specifications

• Beam angle: 19° for a narrow, focused light projection
• Compatibility: designed for use with Amaran Spotlight SE fixtures
• Optical design: solid beam shaping for reduced light spill and maintained uniformity
• Form factor: compact accessory lens for direct mounting on the fixture
• Material: precision optical-grade construction for consistent color rendering

How to use

Attach the 19° lens to the front of the Amaran Spotlight SE according to the fixture's mounting method. Aim the spotlight at the intended subject and adjust distance to modify spot size and intensity; greater distance increases spot size while reducing intensity, closer placement tightens the beam and increases brightness on-target. Combine with diffusion, flags, barn doors, or additional lenses if required to refine light shaping and control unwanted spill. Verify exposure and white balance on camera after installation to ensure consistent results.

Recommendations

Use the 19° lens when you need concentrated illumination and precise control over highlight placement. For portrait and product work, start with moderate distance and fine-tune position and output for the desired contrast and edge definition. Avoid mounting on incompatible fixtures and follow the Amaran Spotlight SE handling guidelines to prevent damage to optical surfaces.
