Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The Da-Lite ProScreen 168 x 220 projection screen offers a matte white viewing surface with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 2.62 m diagonal. Designed for wall or ceiling installation, the screen provides a viewable width of 2.10 m and a viewable height of 1.58 m. The casing and slat bar can be manufactured to size and finished in any colour to match interiors.

Advantages

The ProScreen uses a spring-driven mechanism for quick and smooth extension and retraction, with locking positions every 20 cm for flexible height adjustment. The Easy Install mounting system simplifies wall or ceiling installation. Customisable case dimensions and colour options allow the screen to integrate neatly into different rooms.

Suitable for

  • Business presentations in meeting rooms
  • Classroom teaching and training
  • Video playback and film screening in small auditoria
  • Home cinema setups requiring a 4:3 display

How to use

Mount the screen to a wall or ceiling using the Easy Install system following the manufacturer’s instructions. Pull the screen down to the desired height; the internal spring mechanism will lock at the nearest 20 cm interval. Retract the screen by guiding it up evenly until it closes into the case. For safe operation, ensure the case is securely fastened and do not force the screen when locking or retracting.

Recommendations

For best image quality, use with projectors suited to a 4:3 aspect ratio and position the projector so the image fills the matte white surface evenly. Clean the fabric only with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Verify mounting surface load capacity before installation and choose case colour to minimise reflections and match the room décor.
