Suitable for

• Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for short-term backup
• Alarm and security systems
• Emergency lighting and exit signs
• Small telecommunications and network equipment
• Portable or stationary backup modules in cabinets and racks

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage: 12 V
• Rated capacity: 9 Ah
• Battery type: sealed lead-acid (maintenance-free)
• Mounting: suitable for installation in racks, cabinets and small enclosures
• Intended use: standby and cyclic backup power applications

How to use

Install the europower EV 12-9 according to the UPS or device manufacturer’s instructions, observing correct polarity and secure terminal connections. Ensure the installation area provides appropriate temperature conditions as specified by the host equipment and avoid exposure to open flames or high heat sources. For standby applications, keep the battery on float charge per the charger or UPS settings; for cyclic use, follow the recommended charge/discharge procedure of the system to preserve service life. Do not open or attempt to service the sealed battery.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, periodically verify terminal tightness and the host charger’s float voltage. Replace batteries in matched sets when capacity declines to ensure consistent backup performance. Dispose of the battery according to local regulations for lead-acid batteries.
