La Sportiva TX5 Evo Mid GTX Women's Hiking Boots - Carbon/Redwood, Size 39.5

When the trail turns rocky and the weather turns wet, ordinary hiking shoes leave your feet vulnerable to bruises, blisters, and soaked socks. The La Sportiva TX5 Evo Mid GTX women's hiking boots solve that problem with a rugged nubuck leather upper, a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, and a sticky Vibram outsole that grips everything from muddy switchbacks to granite slabs.

Who is it for

These boots are built for female hikers, trekkers, and backpackers who need reliable ankle support and all-day comfort on demanding terrain. Whether you're tackling a multi-day trek with a heavy pack or a fast-and-light approach to a climbing crag, the TX5 Evo Mid GTX keeps your feet dry, stable, and protected. The mid-cut design wraps your ankle for extra confidence on uneven ground, while the women's-specific fit ensures a secure, comfortable feel from the first mile to the last.

Tips

For the best fit, try these boots on with the socks you plan to wear on the trail and lace them firmly from toe to ankle. The GORE-TEX membrane is fully waterproof, but after muddy hikes, rinse the boots with clean water and let them air dry away from direct heat to preserve the leather and membrane. Pair with gaiters in deep snow or loose scree to keep debris out of the collar.
