La Sportiva Kubo Women's Climbing Shoes

When precision on small footholds and sensitivity on volumes matter most, the La Sportiva Kubo women's climbing shoes deliver a performance edge for indoor and sport climbing. Built on the PD 75 last with a moderate downturn and asymmetry, they balance power and comfort for long sessions on plastic or rock. The dual opposing Velcro straps allow quick on-off between burns, while the Vibram® XS Grip2™ sole sticks to polished gym holds and outdoor edges alike.

Who is it for

The Kubo is ideal for intermediate to advanced female climbers seeking a versatile shoe for bouldering, lead climbing, and gym training. Its medium volume and performance fit suit narrower feet, while the slip-lasted construction and P3 System maintain the downturned shape over time without stretching out.

Tips

For a performance fit, size down 1–1.5 EU sizes from your street shoe. The microfiber front minimizes stretch, so expect only slight break-in. Use the toe patch for aggressive toe hooks on steep terrain and trust the heel cup for secure heel hooks. Resole with original Vibram XS Grip2 to maintain performance.
