Knife Set ZWILLING Style 1023660 — Self-Sharpening Block with 5 Knives

ZWILLING Style 1023660 is a five-piece kitchen knife set presented with a self-sharpening wooden block designed for countertop storage. The set combines essential cutting tools for everyday food preparation with an integrated sharpening mechanism that engages when knives are inserted or removed, maintaining a consistent cutting edge and reducing the need for manual sharpening. Knives are balanced for general-purpose tasks and the block provides safe, compact storage for easy access while cooking.

Advantages

The self-sharpening block maintains blade sharpness automatically, preserving edge performance during regular use and helping extend the time between professional or manual sharpening. The collection of five knives covers common kitchen tasks without requiring additional storage solutions. The block's design secures blades in separate slots to reduce contact between edges, and the set's build quality delivers predictable cutting performance for everyday meal preparation.

• Preparing meat and poultry for family meals
• General kitchen tasks where easy access and quick maintenance are important

Key specifications

• Includes five knives stored in a single self-sharpening block
• Block integrates automatic sharpening elements that work when knives are removed or returned
• Designed for countertop storage and easy access during food preparation
• Knives suited for everyday cutting tasks with balanced handling characteristics

How to use

Insert and remove knives from the designated block slots as needed for food preparation; each insertion engages the built-in sharpening elements so the blades are realigned and honed automatically. Use the appropriate knife from the set for the task—for example, use the chef's knife for chopping and slicing, the paring knife for small peeling and trimming jobs, and the utility or serrated knife for breads and firm-skinned produce. Clean knives by hand with warm water and mild detergent, dry thoroughly before returning them to the block to avoid moisture build-up in the sharpening mechanism and block interior.

Recommendations

Store the block on a dry, stable countertop surface away from direct heat sources. Avoid placing knives in the block while still wet and do not use the block to store damaged or bent blades. Periodically inspect the sharpening elements and the block interior for debris and follow manufacturer care instructions to maintain safe operation and consistent sharpening performance.
