How to use

Power off the PC and disconnect it from mains. Open the case and locate an available 288-pin DIMM slot on the motherboard. Align the module notch with the slot key, insert the module and press evenly until the retention clips click into place. Reassemble the case, reconnect power and boot the system. Enter BIOS/UEFI to verify memory is detected and, if desired, enable an Intel XMP profile or an AMD-optimized profile to apply the rated 3600MT/s settings.

Recommendations

If using a single 8GB module, consider adding a second identical module for dual-channel operation to improve bandwidth and overall system performance. Ensure your motherboard BIOS is up to date for best compatibility with high-speed DDR4 profiles.
