The shielded CAT 6A short keystone module DN-93615-S from DIGITUS® provides a compact, high-performance RJ-45 connection for structured cabling. Designed for tool-free field assembly, it supports 10GBase-T networks and is compatible with mounting in 19" 1U panels and modular junction boxes. The module includes a dust protection cap for the RJ45 socket and supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE standards.

How to use

Prepare the network cable according to the chosen EIA/TIA wiring standard (568A or 568B), insert conductors into the LSA strips following the color coding and perform the insulation displacement termination. Snap the keystone module into the panel or junction box opening until it locks. Connect the RJ-45 plug to the socket and attach the dust protection cap when the socket is not in use.

Recommendations

For optimal shielding performance, ensure the panel or box provides a proper chassis ground and maintain continuous shield continuity across connected components. Use CAT 6A screened cabling and follow PoE power budgets and device specifications when powering equipment over Ethernet.
