DELOCK 90640 is a compact flat keystone module with an RJ-45 female connector, finished in green. The insert measures 16.2 × 30 × 20.5 mm and is supplied in a polybag. It is designed to provide a standard RJ-45 port in keystone-compatible faceplates, modular patch panels and surface-mount boxes, and to terminate twisted-pair Ethernet cables where a low-profile, snap-in mounting solution is required.

How to use

Terminate the Ethernet cable according to the chosen wiring standard and insert the cable end into a compatible RJ-45 jack if pre-terminated. Align the keystone module with the opening in the faceplate or panel and press until it snaps into place. Ensure the module is fully seated and that the connector is accessible from the front of the plate for patch cord connection. For removal, depress the retaining clip and pull the module out of the aperture.

Use the module with keystone-compatible housings and ensure the cable terminations follow Cat6a installation practices if higher category performance is required. Avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable at the module entry to maintain connection reliability.
