Keycap set GLORIOUS GMMK ABS Doubleshot V2 UK layout White — replacement keycaps for mechanical keyboards

The GLORIOUS GMMK ABS Doubleshot V2 keycap set in White with UK layout is a replacement keycap collection designed for mechanical keyboards that use MX-style switches. Manufactured from ABS plastic with doubleshot molding, these keycaps feature crisp, durable legends that resist fading. The set provides a clean white aesthetic suitable for white-themed builds and allows users to replace worn stock caps or modify the look and feel of a compatible GMMK or other MX-compatible keyboard.

Advantages

The doubleshot ABS construction ensures legends are molded into the keycap rather than printed, providing long-lasting readability and resistance to wear. The White finish offers a neutral, consistent appearance that integrates well into a variety of setups. Keycaps are shaped and sized for standard UK key layouts and are compatible with most MX-style switch stems, enabling straightforward installation and reliable fit. The set is intended to restore or refresh keyboards while maintaining mechanical switch compatibility.

Suitable for

• Replacing worn or faded keycaps on GMMK and MX-style mechanical keyboards
• Customizing the visual appearance of a white-themed keyboard build
• Restoring legends that have become illegible over time
• Upgrading stock caps for a consistent doubleshot ABS feel

Key specifications

• Material: ABS plastic with doubleshot molding for permanent legends
• Layout: UK (includes UK-specific Enter and other keys)
• Compatibility: Designed for MX-style switch stems and GMMK-compatible layouts
• Color: White finish suitable for neutral or white-themed setups

How to use

Before installation, power off and unplug the keyboard. Use a keycap puller to remove existing keycaps by gently pulling upward until they detach from the switch stems. Align each GLORIOUS keycap over the corresponding MX-style switch stem for the UK layout and press down firmly until it seats. Replace larger stabilised keys (such as spacebar, Enter, Shift) carefully to ensure stabiliser clips and wires are correctly positioned. After fitting, reconnect the keyboard and test all keys to confirm secure placement and correct actuation.

Recommendations

For longer-lasting appearance, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and clean caps periodically with a soft cloth and mild detergent if needed. When removing stabilised keys, handle stabiliser wires gently to prevent bending. These keycaps are intended for MX-style mechanical switches; verify compatibility with non-standard or low-profile switches before installation.
