Keyboard Microsoft Surface Pro Flex Y8U-00010 with accelerometer and Slim Pen 2 storage

Microsoft Surface Pro Flex Y8U-00010 with accelerometer and Slim Pen 2 storage is a detachable keyboard designed specifically for Surface Pro devices. The accessory combines a compact typing surface with a built-in accelerometer and a dedicated storage dock for the Slim Pen 2, allowing convenient pen stowage and charging while attached to the tablet. It connects and attaches to Surface Pro with the device’s magnetic connector, supporting everyday productivity, note-taking and drawing workflows without adding unnecessary bulk.

Advantages

The keyboard integrates an accelerometer that can detect orientation changes and support context-aware behaviors when paired with compatible Surface Pro models. A dedicated Slim Pen 2 storage compartment keeps the pen secure and within reach, and provides charging capability for the pen while stored. The detachable form factor enables quick transition between laptop-style typing and tablet mode, while the compact layout preserves mobility and reduces carried weight.

Recommendations

For reliable pen charging and storage, place the Slim Pen 2 fully into the compartment each time and check that the Surface Pro’s magnetic connection is secure.
