Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

The HP 803181-091 Office USB Norwegian Black is a full-size wired keyboard designed for everyday office and home workstation use. It provides a standard layout with Norwegian key legends and mechanical-style key switches intended to deliver a responsive and consistent typing feel. USB connectivity allows straightforward plug-and-play setup with compatible desktops and laptops without the need for additional drivers.

Advantages

This wired keyboard offers a full set of keys including a numeric keypad for data entry tasks, and mechanical-style switches that support tactile feedback and clear actuation. The black finish and streamlined profile help maintain a professional appearance on the desk while the USB connection provides reliable power and communication for uninterrupted typing sessions.

Suitable for

  • Office environments requiring a full-size Norwegian-layout keyboard
  • Data entry and accounting tasks that benefit from a dedicated numeric keypad
  • Users who prefer a firmer, more responsive key action for prolonged typing
  • Workstations where a simple plug-and-play USB keyboard is preferred

When it may not be suitable

This keyboard is a wired USB model and therefore may not be ideal for users who need wireless connectivity or Bluetooth pairing for mobile devices. The Norwegian layout may not suit users who require a different national layout or an alternative language-specific key legend. If you need programmable macro keys, advanced multimedia controls, or adjustable backlighting, this model does not include those specialized features.

Key specifications

  • Form factor: Full-size keyboard with numeric keypad
  • Key switch type: Mechanical-style switches for responsive tactile feedback
  • Layout: Norwegian key legends and standard key arrangement
  • Connectivity: USB wired connection for plug-and-play operation
  • Color and finish: Black, low-profile design suitable for professional environments

How to use

Connect the keyboard to an available USB port on your computer. The operating system should recognize the device automatically and enable basic keyboard functionality without installing extra drivers. Position the keyboard on a stable surface with the numeric keypad to the right for standard orientation. Use standard typing posture and, if present, adjust any keyboard tilt legs to reach a comfortable angle. For language-specific input, ensure the operating system keyboard layout is set to Norwegian to match the printed key legends.

What to consider before purchase

  • Confirm that you require a Norwegian key layout and that it matches your intended input language
  • Decide whether a wired USB connection fits your workspace setup or if wireless is preferred
  • Check whether you need additional features such as backlighting, programmable keys, or multimedia controls that this model does not include
  • Ensure your computer has an available USB-A port or an appropriate adapter if using USB-C only systems

Recommendations

For reliable daily performance, keep the keyboard on a flat, clean surface and avoid spilling liquids. Set your operating system to the Norwegian keyboard layout to match the printed keys and maintain driver and system updates for optimal compatibility. If you perform extensive numeric entry, use the numeric keypad for faster input and consider a wrist rest to reduce fatigue during long sessions.

Independent reviews by tech media

“Everyone wants a quieter keyboard now. Up until a year ago it may have been “cool” to sport an RGB mechanical keyboard at home, and to geek out on what kind of Cherry switch you preferred.”
