Keyboard GETT TKG-086-MB-IP68-Black Industrial USB QWERTZ German

The GETT TKG-086-MB-IP68-Black is a mini industrial USB keyboard with a German QWERTZ layout and 86 mechanical keys. Designed for continuous use in demanding environments, it combines a compact form factor with an IP68 protection rating to resist dust and water ingress. The keyboard connects via a standard USB interface and is finished in black to integrate discreetly into control panels, workstations, kiosks, and production lines.

Advantages

The mechanical key switches provide tactile feedback and consistent actuation force, supporting reliable typing and control inputs under prolonged use. Its IP68 rating ensures the internal electronics are protected from dust and immersion in water, enabling operation in wet or dusty industrial settings. The mini form factor saves space while retaining a full set of 86 keys in the German QWERTZ layout, and the USB interface offers wide compatibility with computers and embedded systems.

Suitable for

• Industrial control panels and operator stations
• Public kiosks and self-service terminals in exposed locations
• Laboratory and cleanroom environments requiring sealed input devices
• Factory and production-line workstations with limited desk space

Key specifications

• Number of keys: 86 mechanical keys
• Layout: German QWERTZ
• Interface: USB
• Form factor: Mini keyboard
• Protection rating: IP68 (dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion)
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect the keyboard to a host device using the USB cable. The device uses standard USB HID protocol and should be recognized automatically by modern operating systems without additional drivers. Use the German QWERTZ key assignments for typing and control; mechanical switches deliver clear tactile feedback for data entry and command input. Clean the surface with a soft cloth; for heavy contamination, follow standard procedures for handling IP68-rated equipment, ensuring connectors are dry before reconnection.

Recommendations

Install the keyboard where it is protected from extreme mechanical shocks and avoid exposing the USB connector to constant tension. Although the IP68 rating allows exposure to dust and temporary immersion, rinse with clean water and allow to dry after prolonged contact with liquids. Verify compatibility with your system’s keyboard layout settings to ensure correct German QWERTZ mapping.
