Kensington MicroSaver 2.0 Portable Keyed Laptop Lock is a compact security lock designed for laptops and other devices with a Kensington Security Slot. The 10 mm lock head gives secure anchoring even on very thin laptops while patented Hidden Pin™ Technology adds anti-pick protection. T-Bar™ Locking Technology ensures a secure connection to the Kensington Security Slot commonly found on laptops and devices. The self-coiling carbon steel cable extends up to 6 feet and retracts to about 3 inches for convenient storage. How to use

Insert the T-Bar™ into the Kensington Security Slot on the laptop or device, rotate to lock and secure the keyed head. Route the self-coiling cable around a fixed anchor point, such as a desk leg or immovable fixture, then insert and turn the key to lock. When not in use the cable retracts to a compact coil for easier transport.

Recommendations

Store spare keys separately from the device and regularly inspect the cable and lock head for signs of wear or corrosion. Use with a fixed anchor point and avoid relying on the lock as the sole protection for high-value unattended devices.
